Just a few yards from Woodstock's attractive high street lies a delightful former coaching inn which dates from the 13th century and makes an ideal base for excursions to elegant Blenheim Palace, nearby Oxford and the Cotswolds.

Built in 1637, a coaching inn on the ancient Worcester to London road the B4027. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Wootton village, just two miles from Woodstock.

As well as offering bed and breakfast to our guests we also run a traditional Cotswolds tea room at Park House. Breakfast is served to guests in this delightful setting and guests are also invited to sample our wonderful afternoon cream tea and scones!

The Kings Head Inn & Restaurant is tucked away in the tranquil conservation village of Wootton-by-Woodstock. A haven of delight for those who enjoy good food (mostly gluten free)and a very peaceful nights sleep.
