Salisbury Inns

Salisbury Wetherlodge is situated above the kings head inn. This 3 storey building was built in 1874 for the Richardson brothers wine and spirit importers shippers and wholesalers.

A traditional 13th century coaching inn, famous for its creeper clad courtyard, charm, and antique filled rooms.

The inn is a family owned 30 bedroom modern hotel leisure complex. Set in rolling countryside it is only 4 miles from historic Salisbury. All rooms are spacious with full en-suite facilities.

The Lamb began trading as a public house probably as early as the 12th century. By 1870 it was already well established as a posting inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches.

Our new ground level bedrooms offer all the convenience and features of an expensive hotel with friendly service and reasonable prices. Ideal for booking as a short break or combined with your function at the pelican, you'll find our rooms are beautifully finished and provide easy access and ample parking.
