Northern Highlands Tourist Information & Visitor Guide
Breathtakingly beautiful, the Northern Highlands are not for the feint-hearted. Remote and wild, a rugged coastline conceals sheltered coves and breezy cliff-top hiking trails. Peppered with sturdy little towns offering a warm welcome to visitors, look out for some lively fishing ports where the fleet still sets sail. If you are in the Northern Highlands, a visit to John o'Groats is obligatory and well worth the effort.
