Newbury Tourist Information & Visitor Guide
Newbury is a delightful market town on the Kennet & Avon Canal. The focus of no less than two battles between the Cavaliers and the Roundheads, most of the competition these days can be found at the Racecourse on the outskirts of the town. Nestled between the Berkshire Downs and the Wessex Downs, it is a great base for exploring.
