From Trier to Koblenz, the Moselle River twists and turns, curling almost back on itself at times, it's route is determined by the majestic mountains through which it passes. Flanked by row upon row of vineyards, the scenery changes from high drama to fertile serenity in just one or two turns of the waters. Trier is possibly the oldest town in Germany and well worth exploring.
