  • St. Peter's Basilica - this was the place where Saint Peter, the chief apostle, was buried in 64 A.D.
  • Palazzo dei Papi, Viterbo - the ruins of the Papal Palace are elegant and enigmatic and a reminder of a time when Viterbo with an important city
  • Civita di Bagnoregio - just a few miles from Viterbo, this ancient walled village stands high a cliff and has a population of just 10 during the winter
