The Old Ferry Boat is the oldest inn in England, and its foundations have been dated back to 560AD. The inn overlooks the river Great Ouse, which winds it way around the tiny hamlet of Holywell.

The hotel has its origins in a 16th century farmhouse and an inn has reputedly stood on the site from earliest times. The internal decor of the hotel is a blend of the old and the new with brass spotlights and chalkboards complementing the warmth and character of original brickwork, solid oak beams and large fireplaces.
