Grasmere Tourist Information and Visitor Guide
Enjoy the quiet village of Grasmere, located on the shores of the lake from which the village gets its name. Once home to Williams Wordsworth, the family graves can be found in St Oswalds Church in the centre of Grasmere. Not to be missed is Dove Cottage, where Wordsworth lived with his sister. Surrounded by some fabulous hiking country, there are gentler walks along the shores of the lake.
