The Cavendish Arms is a 450 year old coaching inn. It is one of the oldest buildings in Cartmel and is situated within the old village walls. You can still see the old mounting block dated 1837 outside the main door.

The inn has served the area since the late 18th century and remains at the very core of village life, playing host to the Post Office as well as to local darts and dominoes teams, etc.

All our rooms are ensuite with flat screen TV's and DVD players and a complimentary DVD library at your disposal. All rooms also have alarm clock radios and hairdryers and our WiFi will allow you to use your laptop in all rooms and public areas.
