Museums & Galleries
London is home to some of the world's most famous works of art. Paintings from artists such as Gainsborough, Constable, Turner, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt and Picasso - the list is enormous, as well as numerous other galleries showing works by lesser known or up-and-coming artists. The major galleries are The National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery, Tate Britain and Tate Modern. The museums are plentiful and range from displays of ancient artifacts to high-tech interactive displays, with The Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum and British Museum at the top of the list of must see places.

Architecture & Design
You can find a piece of London's architectural history on nearly every street corner. Some of the most famous include the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. London also has modern designs such as the Millennium Bridge and 'The Gherkin' which has now become a landmark on the London Skyline.

London has produced many characters that have become famous or infamous and there are many places to visit with exhibitions to learn about their lives. Popular places to visit are The Cabinet War Rooms where Winston Churchill directed the Second World War, Prince Henry's room which hosts the Samuel Pepys exhibition and Spencer House, once ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales.

London Parks are a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city; they are very popular in the summer months and home to some of London's wildlife, statues and memorials. The London Science Museum brings science to life and is popular amongst families, or enjoy the Science Discovery Centre at the Natural History Museum.
