  • Côte d'Or - made famous by it's world-class red wines produced from vineyards on these hills. With the beautiful walled town of Beaune being at the centre of production. Dijon also renowned for it's fine wine, is one of the most attractive city's within France
  • Doubs - an area renowned for it's natural beauty of mountains, waterfalls, woods, plateau's and lakes. A must see is the Metabief Mont d'Or with it's amazing views of Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn
  • Haute-Saône - derives it's name from the River Saône. It is an ideal location with fully signed route guides for boating enthusiasts and walkers alike

  • Territoire-de-Belfort - the smallest départment in France, it's ideally placed on the Swiss/German border which makes a great base for exploring. The Belfort gap is of huge importance as it joins the valley's Rhône and Rhine together
  • Yonne - a rich tapestry of beautiful countryside, history, gastronomy and culture. The Basilica of Ste Madeleine from the 12th century has been classified as a world heritage site due to it's Romansque art
