England's Attractions- - an emblem of British Royalty Buckingham Palace is just one of many iconic buildings that epitomise London. Older still, Stonehenge , an atmospheric circle of massive standing stones was constructed over 5000 years ago. Visit Oxford & Cambridge, revered university cities where hushed quadrangles and ancient colleges rub shoulders with awesome museums. Get away from it all in the Lake District, an astonishing region of azure lakes, hills and beautiful woodland. Even mor remote is Land's End, a rocky promontory thrusting out into the Atlantic Ocean - next stop, America! Visit Stradford-upon-Avon, a delightful market town that celebrates to the full its most famous son, poet and playwright, William Shakespeare then travel to York to see York Minster, the largest Cathedral in Northern Europe with a breathtaking vaulted ceiling and fine 14th century stained glass.

Scotland's Attractions – Head north to John o'Groats, the furthest point from Land's End on mainland Britain, a journey that will take you past legendary lochs and the magnificent Scottish Highlands. Explore Edinburgh Castle, dominating the city’s skyline; this historic fortress includes buildings dating back to the 12th century then visit Inverness, a staunch granite city at the head of Loch Ness.

Wales' Attractions – with over 170 castles to choose from, Caernarfon Castle is regarded as one of the best. This superbly preserved 13th century castle built by Edward I came to the fore in 1969 when Prince Charles was invested as Prince of Wales. More humble yet no less astonishing, the origins of St David’s Cathedral date back to the 6th Century.
- Ireland's Attractions – at the northern tip of Ireland the Giant's Causeway is an extraordinary formation of pillars of rock that extend as far as Scotland. Formed by violent volcanic activity, the causeway is surrounded by myth and legend. In complete contrast the Book of Kells held in Trinity College is considered to be one of the most beautiful religious manuscripts in the world. Filled from cover to cover with extravagantly coloured and exquisitely penned illustrations, it is quite wonderful.
