A recently opened Travelodge has joined the club of wacky hotels with its latest addition in Uxbridge, England. Made from metal shipping containers, it’s probably the last place you would want to spend the night in, but the specially prepared containers have been kitted out with all the usual Travelodge comforts.

Located just outside of London, the new 120-room budget hotel was built in just four months, opening on 15 August. A newlywed couple were one of the first to sample the unusual property – they had their honeymoon there. The duo were even invited to the champagne reception party to celebrate the opening of the £4.5 million pound hotel!
