Believe it or not Ripley’s Believe it or Not! has arrived in London

From the bizarre to the downright bonkers, the weird to the wonderful, Ripley’s Believe it or Not! has come to earth in London’s Piccadilly Circus.

Four floors of authentic artefacts collected by Robert Ripley have been grouped into twenty themed galleries covering topics such as shrunken heads (of the human variety!) and curious creatures that have no name.

Popular exhibits include a blinding Mini Cooper encrusted with 1 million crystals, a portrait of Princess Diana made out of laundry lint and an upside-down tea party.  Model makers will undoubtedly be impressed with a 4m long recreation of Tower Bridge made out of matchsticks but if your curiosity is of a more macabre nature, how about an original Vampire Killing Kit, circa 1840!

Ripley’s Believe it or Not! is an eccentric collection of exhibits brought together by a man whose curiosity knew no bounds. It may raise the hairs on the back of your neck , it may make you laugh, but one thing’s for sure, you will come away having learned that the world is not quite the rational well-ordered place you thought it was!
