The University of Cambridge Celebrates Science in its 800th year

Founded by disaffected PhD Students from Oxford University 800 years ago, the University of Cambridge was a school for post-graduate students.  The first college, Peterhouse, was founded in 1284 and since then 30 further colleges have opened their doors. (more…)
