Maps and more on all your favourite destinations
Monday 13th October 2008
During the summer months Openroads.com has been working hard to improve the information available on major destinations.
Accommodation listings have been categorised to enable visitors to go straight to a selection of hotels that meet their requirements. So, if you are looking for a
3* hotel in Brighton, a good
bed and breakfast in Newquay, a city centre hotel or something a little quieter out in the country, click on the Hotels Tab and browse a comprehensive list of targeted selections.
Most accommodation selections include a link to a map so visitors can check out exactly where their chosen hotel is. For example, once on the Manchester Central Hotels map page, simply click on the icon to see brief details of the hotel, select the View & Book button to check availability and make an on-line reservation. If you are still not sure that you have found quite the right spot, use the mouse to move the map up, down, left or right to reveal more hotels.
As regular visitors to our site may have spotted, we are also upgrading information on leading tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace and Stonehenge. In addition to a brief overview of what to expect from the attraction, we have now added a focused hotel listing featuring nearby hotels and a map, pinpointing exactly where the attraction is in relation to the hotels. Fans of London Theatre will be pleased to see that we have also added maps of hotels close to all the top London shows indicating exactly where the theatre is.
