At Openroads.com we strive to bring you up-to-date information about a huge range of destinations in Britain, Europe and North America. With brief descriptions covering all major highlights, extensive hotels selections, listings of all the local attractions and some very special offers, you’ll find all you need to know in just a few quick clicks. Destinations
We are constantly introducing new and updated destinations onto the Openroads.com website. In honour of the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns we have upgraded all our Scotland pages. We have also added to our stock of information on British National Parks showing places to stay in the Yorkshire Dales and the Brecon Beacons. If you are thinking of travelling further afield, get a feel for a country by heading for the overview page. Luxembourg is exquisite; the Eternal City, Rome has some breathtaking attractions and tiny Belgium will both surprise and delight.

Sometimes, all you need is a good quality hotel that is close to a university perhaps or a place of work. The current economic climate has put pressure on everyone’s finances so finding a special offer or money-saving deal can be the difference between having a holiday or not. Most of our destinations have an Offers and Breaks page where you will find all the latest, up-to-date money-savers. There are some great special offers in Brighton and Whitby at the moment. If you enjoy visiting major attractions, look out for some excellent accommodation plus admission packages for places like Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Warwick Castle. Theme Parks are a fantastic family day-out and there are some excellent deals and offers available all across the country.

If you are looking for a hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, you will want to see where the closest hotels are so we have zoomed the map in close for you. When looking for somewhere to stay in the Yorkshire Dales, there are so many lovely places in the area, we have widened the map out. All the hotels are displayed as icons on the map, so if you spot a hotel in a good location, click on the icon and it will bring up full details of the hotel.
